Evan Mackey

Evan Mackey joined Smockum Zarnett as an associate in 2025, following the completion of his articles with the firm.

Evan has appeared before multiple levels of court on a range of insurance and personal injury matters.

He earned his law degree with honours from the University of Southampton Law School and went on to further his legal education at the Allard School of Law. During his studies, Evan served as Vice President of the Canadian Law Society, where he supported fellow Canadian students in adapting to life abroad by organizing seminars and social events.

Outside of the office, Evan enjoys playing rugby, golfing, and travelling.
