Morgan MacDonald


Morgan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Guelph University and attended Queen’s University for his law degree while also finding time to spend a semester at Sydney University in Australia.

After receiving his law degree in 2004, Morgan articled at a mid-sized Toronto full service firm with an emphasis on insurance defence work. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2005 and has acted for policy holders and insurers ever since.

Morgan has carriage of tort files of various exposures, specializing in the defence of motor vehicle, property/casualty, products liability, homeowner’s and general liability insurance claims. He also acts for insurers in subrogated claims. He has appeared at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and at private arbitration and various tribunals.

Morgan is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys sports, travel, music and spending time with his daughter.
